We have a miniature gelding that we bought from a kill pen, he's slowly getting over his fear of people and now his personality is beginning to shine through. His paddocks buddies are other horses that are 16-17hh and he bosses them around like he's not aware that he's only about 8hh. He's still difficult to catch, and seems to always know when he's about to get his feet trimmed. Although, now he's beginning to warm up to us, and will nicker whenever he sees us come to the gate even though he's still too cautious to come over.
